PHILIPPINE CHUNG HUA SCHOOL INC. 

As a duly recognized educational institution for Chinese and Filipino youth in Manila , The Philippine Chung Hua School aims to realize the national ideals and foster the culture of the Filipino-Chinese Virtues and human values. In effect, the school will try its best to instill in the students appreciation for the positive outlook in life, respect for national tradition and love of mankind. The school aims to achieve a well-integrated development of a person’s potential, mentally, physically and spiritually. Every young individual shall be given the opportunity to maximize to the fullest his/her physical, intellectual, social and spiritual capabilities. The school creates an environment where each student is guided to develop good moral values and deep sense of responsibility for personal life and good, mature disposition. Thus, through various school programs, the school can respond to the needs of the students, realizing therefore its educational mission. As a Filipino-Chinese school, all programs and plans are geared towards the attainment of cultural heritage both Chinese and Filipino.

During that time, the school was a simple two-story building, occupying about 600 square feet. All classrooms, grade 1 to grade 5 were located on the second floor. The principal's and teachers' offices were located on the ground floor. The Manila Sampaloc Chinese-Filipino Chamber of Commerce was also located on the first floor. Now, it is a school that teaches Kindergarten to Grade 12

✔️History

The Philippine Chung Hua School was originally located in G. Tuazon Street, near the corner of M. Arenas, in Sampaloc, Manila. During that time, the school was a simple two-story building, occupying about 600 square feet. All classrooms, grade 1 to grade 5 were located at the second floor while principal's and teachers' offices were located at the ground floor. The Manila Sampaloc Chinese-Filipino Chamber of Commerce office was also located at the first floor. Now, it is a school that teaches Kindergarten to Senior High School.

🥇Preschool and Kindergarten 

We offer progressive, child-centered and developmentally-appropriate early

childhood education programs for

children 3 to 6 years old.

Through an integrated curriculum and meaningful, relevant, and interesting activities, we develop children holistically (physically, cognitively, and socio-emotionally).


🥇Elementary

The curricular offerings in the elementary school are premised and chosen based on

sound teaching-learning principles, on the level of maturity of the learners, and on the current developments in the field.

Course content, concepts and skills are

taught functionally to emphasize critical and creative thinking, develop desirable learning habits, and foster attitudes and values

in the pupils.


🥇Junior High School

Secondary education aims to continue the general education started in the elementary

level and to provide adequate instructions in preparation for college education or initial employment.

We help develop students to learn

independently as well as cooperatively.

The role of our teachers shifts from being a

sage on the stage to a guide on the side.


🥇Senior High School

The Senior High School Program of PCHS

was approved by the Department of Education to offer the following tracks starting 2020.

Academic Track:

2. Accountancy, Business, andManagement (ABM)

3. Humanities and Social Sciences(HUMSS)
